A Logo is a face of any brand or business, people do not recognise brands through their CEO, owner or founder, it’s the logo that they know.
We are in a world, where we are judged on how we represent ourselves in seconds and those perceptions either help us or hurt us.
In this digital age, building an image of a brand takes a lot of efforts. You will need to promote your business through multiple channels like FB, Twitter, LinkedIn, Business Profile, Website etc. While promoting through all these channels, people are going to remember one thing the most is the logo.
While we start thinking of our logo would be, we should ask our selves:
– Do our logo identity represents us?

Here are some points that you should keep in mind while you’re ready to design or re-design logo of your company.
1) KEEP IT SIMPLE
Do not clutter your logo with to match of designs. Keep it simple and clean. Use only one element that can draw focus on viewers. If you need to highlight or differentiate something use different colours to represent it.
2) BE UNIQUE
Do not use any reference logos to get inspiration, there is very few logo design company how to take care that they do not end up with a similar logo. Use your own creativity to do something unique. Even Mercedes logo isn’t a car and Apple’s logo isn’t a computer.
3) COLOR MATTERS
Every colour has some theory and meaning, you can refer to colour implication chart.
4) HAVE A STORY
A logo should represent your company’s mission or values. For example, FedEx’s iconic logo features an arrow which suggests the company’s focus on speed, delivery, and moving forward. Designs that reflect these narratives are often more effective, impressive, and thoughtful.
5) SIZE MATTERS
Logo size should be such that fits on any printing medium and size, without losing its readability. Very few logo design company do care about size.
While designing a logo, you should keep in mind all the possibilities of getting printed.
6) TYPOGRAPHY MATTERS… A LOT!
Font style and family is one of the most crucial parts of a logo design. Selecting right font that suits to the business is difficult for beginner designers.Fonts play an important role in logo design if you are not able to choose right fonts all your efforts made to create a logo will be in vein.
